Description:

The Glen Moray Port Cask Finish comes from the Glen Moray distillery in Speyside, Scotland. The single malt is distilled twice in copper stills. It is matured for several years in American white oak casks. This is followed by an eight-month finish in former port wine casks from Portugal. This finish reveals a very beautiful wine aroma on the palate, which harmonizes perfectly with the integrated oak tone. On the nose, the Glen Moray Port Cask Finish initially presents aromas of roasted vanilla. This is then joined by notes of dried fruit. On the palate there are refreshing lemon notes accompanied by spices and nuances of caramel and vanilla. The finish is pleasant with honey and soft oak. The Glen Moray Port Cask Finish is bottled at 40% vol. and without colorant.
