The Irish made up a large proportion of the European immigrants who populated the Caribbean in the 18th century and contributed to the development of the rum industry. As a tribute to them, Tullamore D.E.W. has developed this variant, which is matured for a further six months in XO rum casks and layers vanilla and oak notes with citrus fruits, ripe bananas and delicate spices. The taste is creamy and smooth on the tongue with delicious caramel and banana notes with a hint of dates and raisins
