Description:
The Medoc, a sub-region of Bordeaux, is an area of coastal lagoons, sand dunes and pine forests located at the 45th parallel. It is the most prestigious zone and is home to some of the world's most famous Vanara concepts: Pauillac, Margaux, Saint-Estephe and Saint-Julien. The wineries in this area produce some of the most expensive bottles in the world.
Calvet Collection Medoc Reserve De L'Estey is a cuvee of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 5% Malbec, 5% Petit Verdot. The wine has a ruby red color, a very elegant, delicate nose of red fruits (black cherries, plums) and spices (cinnamon, cloves). In the mouth it is balanced, with good structure and a long aftertaste. It can be drunk relatively young, after about 3 years, but ages very well.
