Description:
Braastad Cognac is named after Sverre Braastad, who was born in Gj??vik in Norway in 1879. He developed a passion for cognac for 100 years - until he died in 1979. When he took over Tiffon, where Braastad is produced, he began to develop the company, which is now run by his son Robert and grandsons Antoine, Richard and Jan. Tiffon is now the largest family business in the Cognac district. According to the Cognac classification, a VS (Very Superior) Cognac must be aged for at least 2 years in oak barrels. Braastad VS includes cognacs aged between 2 and 4 years in limousin oak barrels in the family cellars in Jarnac
