Denmark's largest dark rum is called Hansen, but despite its name, it is a rum from Central and South America. It is made from sugar cane and stored in old oak barrels after distillation. This is where the distinctive and powerful aroma develops into the harmonious flavour for which Hansen Golden Rum is known. Due to its sugar and other nutrient content, it has an obvious warming and refreshing quality.
