Piccini Collezione Privata Rosso Toscano is an Italian red wine made from four grape varieties: 40% Merlot, 20% Cabernet, 20% Syrah, and 20% Sangiovese, from the Toscano IGT wine region in Italy. After juicing and crushing, the grapes are tempered in stainless steel tanks. After maceration, the wine is aged for 12 months in a combination of large barrels and barriques, using special barrels for Sangiovese and barriques for international grapes. The result is a harmonious and well-structured wine with rich complexity. The bouquet of the wine reveals its rich and opulent essence, adorned with notes of spices, chocolate, ripe plums, and blackberries. A subtle sweetness unfolds on the palate, leading to a soothing and full-bodied experience. Aromas of licorice, resin, and ripe fruit dance on the palate and delight the senses. Smooth tannins contribute to a velvety texture and a lingering, deep flavor. Recommended to serve at 18 °C with roasted meat, poultry, and aged cheese.
